Can you tell us a little about your family?

The following videos have been put together to provide learners, in particular, with examples of everyday spoken conversational Manx.

The interviews cover a number of common themes such as family, work, sport and holidays. Transcripts of the interviews in English and Manx with additional grammar advice can be purchased from Culture Vannin by contacting [email protected]

We would like to thank all those Manx speakers who freely gave of their time to help with this project as well as Malcolm Stitt for permission to use his music on the tracks, Neil Corlett for his excellent camera work, James Harrison for his work on the transcriptions and of course Culture Vannin for their financial support for this project
