In June, the city of Peoria distributed $100,000 in grants to 19 organizations as part of Peoria’s Arts Enhancement Initiative.
Those 19 organizations have been busy producing 27 arts programs for the residents of Peoria to further enhance the arts and culture of the city.
The organizations are designing programming specifically for youth and adults in Peoria focused on art, music, theater and dance.
Among the projects: TheaterWorks is producing an immersive theatrical experience, Marilyn’s Academy of Dance is producing a Christmas show, and Arizona Opera is bringing its highly regarded OperaTunity program to Peoria Unified School District schools.
