Osceola Arts pays tribute to Hispanic Heritage Month with three amazing art exhibits that are free and open to the public through Nov. 5:

● “HISPANIC DNA” works created by Florida art group Embajadores del Arte,
● “Mi Tierra/Motherland” works by Carlos Rafael Vega,
● “DIASPORA: Celebrating Hispanic Artists and Culture 13th annual Juried Art Show” featuring Florida artists of different art disciplines who share their creative roots. This exhibit embraces pride in heritage, culture, and community, honoring the rich diversity of 55 Hispanic/Latinx artists who are living and creating art in Florida.

HISPANIC DNA – works by Embajadores del Arte (Ambassadors of the Arts) is a collective of Hispanic artists gathered around a shared ideology and common goal of promoting peace and love through the arts. HISPANIC DNA, an exhibition of artworks created by group members will be on display in the Community Gallery.

“Mi Tierra” (Motherland) is an exhibition of works by Carlos Rafael Vega. Vega is a Kissimmee-based artist born in
Havana, Cuba. His paintings have a surrealist style in which he melts the landscape of his native city with the
characters that inhabit them. This movement, which appears as if it will dissipate if we watch for a few more
seconds, shapes the physicality and imagination of the transparent performers the city intends to keep on display.

Hispanic Heritage Month with its 13th annual juried art show that embraces pride in heritage, culture, and community, honoring the rich diversity of 55 Hispanic/ Latinx artists who are living and creating art in Florida. Works
