AI-supported segmentation and interactive gradients map colour assignment to objects and allow accurate and historic validated colours. The new AI colour transfer allows consistent colourisation of complete scenes with little effort.”

The software will be available as an option to HS-Art’s Diamant-Film Restoration Suite, as well as a standalone product.
The firm, based in Graz, Austria, also makes DustBuster+, a software for interactive digital film cleaning and restoration.
