ARTFIXdaily will cease weekday e-newsletter service after 13 years of publishing art world press releases, events and news. The final subscriber e-newsletter appeared on July 8, 2022.
Thank you to the thousands of readers of more than 3,000 daily e-newsletters, especially those subscribers who opened ARTFIXdaily emails most weekdays for over a dozen years, from its start-up phase through pandemic uncertainties. To the ArtGuild content providers who contributed over 80,000 images plus news items, and to our loyal advertisers and supporters, thank you for making ARTFIXdaily possible.
The first edition of ARTFIXdaily published on July 14, 2009. The daily subscriber e-newsletter and website featured aggregated art news and member-posted news derived from ArtGuild—our proprietary, open-by-approval platform for publishing content in real-time.
The site was launched after a move from Boston to California over 15 years ago resulted in a search for up-to-the-minute art news online—at a time when that web landscape was still sparse. ARTFIXdaily was created to provide a free web publishing service as well as art news digests for email subscribers.
